Wounded City (2011 —2013)
My hometown Leuven was destroyed in the first months of the first World War (1914-1918). I brought these scenes to life in a series paintings, and published them together with writer Johanna Spaey in the graphic novel "Gewonde stad" (2014; contact me to order a copy).
